What I've learned over time is, don't say ANYTHING to ANYBODY unless you don't mind it being repeated.

Kid's an attention-seeking diva. He's not good enough to command such attention

 

 

^^^^  This... the kid's head is still as big as it was when he came out of HS... and the talent level is very questionable... just one year playing any football in HS.

 

 

Enough. You want the media spotlight focused on you? Do you realize how freaking harsh that glare is? Not fun. He wanted to make his decision in private and now it's getting trumpeted all over the internet.

Don't want him. He didn't want to be here at the beginning why would we take him now. I for one don't feel like being a sellout for a couple extra wins. Even if Kean isn't the man (which I doubt) I'd rather have Thor as QB than Woulard.

I really don't know why we jump to some conclusions.  This is a twenty year old kid, probably be hounded by multple recruiting sites looking to be the first to "report" his new school.  It isn't a huge story, but it is a national story.  The kid was one of the top 20 or so QBs coming out of high school two years ago.  If you were his age and people keep asking you what you are doing, then you see "stories" that you have picked one school or another, wouldn't you want to do something to stop the madness?

 

Unless someone here knows AW personally or understands how many people are hounding him for a decision, I think it is a huge reach to start attacking the kid.

I'll never get why some think we are above accepting transfers from players that spurned us initially.  It happens all the time all over college football.  If AW is willing to swallow his pride and come back here and put in the work and know that he's just competing for a starting job and not having one handed to him, then why not.  I'd much rather have more quality depth at a position that has been an absolute albatross around the programs neck for the past 2 years.

Here we go again.  An 18 year old kid gets an offer to go to his hometown school which just fired it's head coach and hired a very young head coach.  No one knows if the guy can coach or not.  He also gets an offer from a football school with tons of history and a quality coach with a proven track record.

 

Get real.  You would have done the exact same thing if it was your choice.  If USF was his second choice, so be it.  Why we would whine about a guy of this quality possibly coming home is beyond me.

 

Seriously, you are mad at a kid for choosing UCLA over USF.  Really?

Not sure which is worse, attention-seeking divas or those who hang on every word and slam them when they read something they don't like.
