There's no such thing as a Gold Bull Location .... and you couldn't have put this in the thread about season tix renewal?

Yeah, I know they changed the whole donation level arrangement and donor seating designations but those who've been at this as long as I have know where the donation levels are and what's required to get those seats.  Hopefully the cheapskates get moved to the cheap seats.  Are you one of those?

You can get 8 seats in an old Gold Bull location for as little as a $1200 donation with a maximum of a $3200 donation. Hopefully you're not one of those cheapskates that's just donating enough to get the seats and aren't continuing at your previous level.

I have been at Green Jacket or higher since 1995 or 1996 and have held 8 football tickets since inaugural season.  Unfortunately I have lived in the desert now for almost 10 of those 18 or so years of buying football tickets.  I have also bought tickets to MBB and Baseball on and off to support, after having second bball season tickets for years before football.  Reading all of the changes is almost too much at this point to have interest in renewing.

I also have a unique situation that I need to discuss with the new regime, because of a mistake the old regime made, but righted with a seat adjustment.

I have a feeling I'm out in the cold on this one, but I might call the ticket office to see what's what.  Unfortunately at this point, predicting a lot of red tape and nonsense hardly makes it worth it.  I was never "Grandfathered" but I am now in a location (as part of the old regime correcting their mistake) that now costs more than double what I have paid in recent years.  I know the old regime valued my contributions financially and otherwise.  Not sure about the new group.

Like Skingraft I feel a bit like all that support means nothing these days.  To continue on that arc is a tough decision.  Should I decide to call to discuss renewing, it will be an interesting insight on how they might treat someone who was there from the start.  I'm thinking it's no different than the walk-up ticket buyer, from what I see here.  Looking for good news.

Not renewing this year either. I'm struggling with how they tossed aside those who have stood by the program through this **** show on the field. I'll attend every game, but not at the premium I have paid for years.

A sympathy boycott ..... awesome! Attica! Attica! Attica! Attica!
interesting how you cut out the rest of my post.... no boycott, just not paying extra, just market value for the games and still donating to facilities

You grumpy old men these days

Ok, should have specified boycotting season tix .... also should have asked for clarification on what attending every game but not at premium meant. "Scalpers"? Game by game thru USF?

And it's my god given right to be grumpy any **** day I feel like it

I'll buy through USF

Brad when I met you probably a decade ago now at the Bulls Auction my conversation with you was one of the motivating factors that made my level of support and giving what it is today. Your passion and vision resonated with me. Everyone has to make the choice that's right for them and I get how hard it is to keep it going living in the desert so no judgement here at all but if you don't renew I kind of hope I miss that post of yours.

At the end of the day, while the new system may not be good for everybody (but it is good for most people), I can't see how anyone can say it is unfair to them. Just because you got a great deal in the past, doesn't mean that the end of that great deal is unfair.

I want to renew because I want to be part of the solution, part of the rebuilding, part of future success.

I just couldn't imagine walking away. I would rather watch my team at 2-10 than some other school I don't care about.

It'll be interesting to see which seats they sell like that and for how much.

jjlovecub, I remember that meeting, we sat at the same table.  Had to be 2006 I think.  It was a great era after the previous decade of building a program.  I hope we somehow find the way back.

I'm glad my belief in the program made a difference for you.  Your words, this day, mean a lot to me.

Usually the people that brag about what they have usually have the least.
