USF will beat SMU to improve the season with 4 wins (100% improvement)

 

We could have made a bowl game this year.

Stop just looking at the record. The team is not improving bit is getting worse. The only thing that has improved is we cut down on the number of pre-snap penalties. Look at teams like Temple. 2nd

The basis for comparison for the team should really be Holtz' last year, not Taggart's 2013. Have we improved relative to that? Not even close.

Beating SMU is not this great accomplishment, but getting to a bowl game would have been.

I expected to lose games this year but not the absolute ineptness of the offense and no improvement of change from his hard headed self

He's improving the culture of football at USF. Behaviors take time. Why would anyone with half a football IQ think this year's team was going to be any better than 4 and 8.

Stop just looking at the record. The team is not improving bit is getting worse. The only thing that has improved is we cut down on the number of pre-snap penalties.

Look at teams like Temple. 2nd year coach coming off a 2 win season. They have a better record than last year and are in games they lose right till the end.

Even UCONN, first year coach, horrible mess last year, their QB had to retire because of concussions and even in losses they have been in the last few games as they are coming together.

For me, it is the lack of improvement. I don't see even the slightest inkling that

The team is on the cusp of winning. We are out of most games by middle of the second quarter. We are not even close.

Why shouldn't USF win more than 3 or 4. This conference is pathetic.

Is progress too much to ask? Temple and UConn are showing it.

Taggart must go. His regime has been an absolute failure.

I agree with this post.  Also saying that beating SMU would then be a 100% improvement over last year is silly.
