Hopefully less emotional responses today and the sauce has worn off.

Houston's strength (D) was our weakness (O). If you saw any other outcome yesterday you're misguided.

Lots of sunny blue skies ahead for USF. Tough to see cultural changes inside the program. Leadership is being built and it's painful to watch the losses, but things are changing.

nothing has changed and most now see it

we have no capable qb and without a capable qb you cant compete at this level

I totally agree football is a passing game now and we have no good qb in sight. Why would a quality qb want to come and run our boring offense? If I was a qb recruit I'd go to a place that let me throw the ball, that's what the nfl is looking for.

Taggs lets the QB throw the ball a lot.

Unfortunately, he appears to have forbidden anyone from catching said ball...

We hardly ever throw the ball more than 10 yards in the air. Our passing offense is boring compared to 95% of the other offenses in college football. We do not have a consistent, quality qb on this team.

My expectations of most of the fan base is right where thought. I never expected most to get it or see it. Thanks for continuing to validate.

Dude. Stop being so condescending to the fanbase.

Am I connected to the inside of the program?  No.  However, I'm an alumnus, fan and season ticket holder and want nothing more than the Bulls to return to respectabliity.  I have been to most of all the home games and made some road trips and have sat through the crap that has been rolled out as Bulls football for the last 4 years and have walked out of Ray Jay as a loser more than I care to admit.

I have seen nothing in the Taggart era to show me that he is the right man for the job.  He continually tries to force his power O brand of offense on a team that is not equipped physically or mentally to run it.  It's not fair to everyone involved, players, coaches and fans and it's God awlful boring to watch!

Where's the fight and leadership on this team?  Even Taggart admits we have none.  I see a team that has given up on him and his brand of football that he's trying to sell.

If the season finishes as you predict 4-8, with a win over SMU and I'm not so sure about that anymore, how does Harlan sell this program in the offseason.  Fans and season ticket holders are leaving in droves.  I was at last nights game.  Were you?  The atmosphere was horrible embarrassing and sad all rolled in to one.  How does Harlan sell "he's changing the culture" inside the program to fans and would be season ticket holders?

If he doesn't make a change, this offseason will be brutal..

And no I'm not on the sauce.

I was at yesterday's game also, and you're right the atmosphere is embarrassing. I honestly feel like I'm at a bad high school game and not a college football game.

The atmosphere has be terrible for years actually.  It's just at the bare minimum now.

The only real loud noise I heard yesterday was for the military

All the comments on boring football got me thinking.

People will watch boring football if we win

People will watch boring football if we play with passion

People will watch boring football if we get a little better every game, especially on the blocking assignments

People will watch boring football if we sustain drives, rest the defense, so they can bring the wood every down

People will watch boring football if we play with our heads in the game and keep focused

None of which we are doing right now

So unless all of the above changes, only fools like us hard-core fans will continue to watch USF football.

What does that total to? 1,000-2,000 fans?

Harlan either needs to make some serious changes, or move the games to the track stadium, go back down to FCS and give up.

Seeing us scoring 1 offensive TD or more than 3 points was misguided? I don't know if anyone on here expected a win, but I expected a better performance and still do.

Things are certainly changing. I think our entire fan base just expects a loss every game now. Good stuff.

I remember a key 3rd or 4th down play on offense and the angle showed the stands and 3 people out most of half of the field level were standing. It was probably Judy, Harlan and another staffer. Pathetic. This needs to change now. Fire him. Put one of the coordinators in for the rest of the year. Let's have something we can cheer about. As it is now, I have zero expectations beyond a 3 and out on Offense.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
