Oh and taggart gets half of next season. 2-4 or worse and hes gone

Very rarely does a college coach get canned mid-season. Happens, but rarely.

Problem is two-fold. Boring, losing football and no fans in the stadium. Even if we win early next year people don't believe enough to watch a Taggart coached team in person. Attendance is an embarrassment.

They really need to do something to spark the excitement again.  Harlan will hopefully come up with something.

We are so bipolar in this place.

I too thought white should have been in. I still think he is the better QB for our team

All season when one for the 4 teams I root for have been playing, I sat there from start to finish and no matter how bad they played, never have I turned off the TV or walked away.  This game against Houston was the first one.

 

Even when FSU was down at the half on Thursday night I watched the entire thing (and to my surprise a very impressive comeback in the second half).  When Navy was down 28-7 I watched until the very end and witnessed a #10 team getting their butt's kicked in the second half (Go Middies).

 

However, with the offensive line play of USF, I cannot stomach it.  The play of the Offensive line is the problem.  Just like it is the problem in Tallahassee-FSU, Gainesville-UF (with the exception of this past weekend), and Orlando-UCF.  The offensive lines inability to.....BLOCK anyone in general puts the defenses in bad positions.  If I remember correctly was the 1st quarter time of possession like 10 some to 2 something in favor of Houston?  Why?  The offensive lines inability to get a push and provide proper blocking for the skill players to move the ball down the field.

 

CWT wants to run a power offense.  OK fine.  USF has the skill players to do it.  Several bash Whites ability to QB.  I do not think White is that bad.  White is pocket passer through and through.  When given time to throw the ball and time to go through his throwing motion, he can place a beautiful pass right where it needs to be.  The issue with White is his ability to throw on the run.  And when he does have to run it is because of the lines inability to pass block.  The biggest issue with CWT's desire to run the power offense is the offensive lines inability to block anything.

 

Fix the Oline, fix the offensive issues.  Thinking of it just now, is the Oline not all that is left of the Skip Holtz debacle?

I'm aware of that. I just couldn't think of Amy sarcasm to follow that. I guess I could have said they are bulky and slow but I could have been describing myself
