Doug was great at spending money

 

Money well spent as the new facilities are awesome!! Wish USF would spend more to get that OCS.

What's your issue? 2-10 to 4-8 is improvement in the win column, but unfortunately since we lost respectable-to-good teams on the schedule from last year to this year in the AAC that correlation that

So DW gets an A for managing construction/expansion projects, and a D for managing the actual programs? I won't give him an F--there was a slope to the decline; and the future of football--though dark right now--is still unknown. If the FB program suddenly explodes with talent and takes off in the next couple of years, DW's resume suddenly would look a lot spicier.

People need to stop lumping all programs in there and stick to football. Basketball, softball, soccer, tennis, golf are far from D's during his stay ...

That's correct. While some of the coaches doing well with these programs were hired before DW arrived, he's helped get those coaches what they need to be successful and also retained them at USF. And now that he's gone, there are facilities at USF, like in basketball, that are good enough to attract coaches from storied programs at the top of their sport, such as Kentucky.
