Lived in Columbia, SC for 7 years and I can't stand mustard BBQ.  I do like the NC vinegar based stuff though.

My first construction job in high school was behind this joints former location. They started before we did and the chimney was right next us. All day smelling smoked BBQ, pure torture.

I have been blessed and can say I have eaten at all of the top BBQ places in the US. You name a style, and I can say I had that markets leader...

For me, and it is purely preference, this is my all time favorite

I fly it in as as often as possible

This was my introduction to Carolina BBQ. Prior to it, I had only had KC, Memphis, and Texas.

That is in Virginia. You were introduced to Virginian barbecue.

I was introduced to Carolina style BBQ at a location in VA. If Sofia Vergara let me give her a motorboat here in the U.S., doesn't mean those boobs aren't still Colombian.

Boobs and barbeque, huh? Interesting comparison.

Cue don't cross borders like boobs do.

I'm in KC and ate at Jack's Stack Barbeque for lunch today and had some bodacious burnt ends and pork spare ribs.  The beans are great, too!

 

Tomorrow, I'm going to hit Oklahoma Joe's.  The spare ribs there are supposed to be the best.
