One of the locals, you can buy their sauce in Kroger locally, I believe.

Our local BBQ, has won the GA state championship cook off among several competitions, Dave Poe's. They cook a certain amount of food each night and close once its sold.

Dyer's Hamburgers in Tenn. They use 100 year grease to fry hamburgers. I'm not that adventurous. They changed locations and used an armored car to transport it.

All of the above is crap, when compared to Peebles BBQ, not too far from USF in good ol' Auburndale, FL:

You'd have to actually go to all the above locations before being even qualified to make such a statement.

From this recent Yelp review, their sides are nothing to drive across the street to check out.

With all the stars I saw on the reviews for this restaurant, I drove with my fiancé (out of our way to Ybor City) looking forward to some finger licking bbq. To our disappointment this was not our experience. The food was just ok. Beans straight from a can, food served with two pieces of white bread straight from the bag. Ribs and pork nothing  to write home about. Not sure id frequent this restaurant if I even lived in this area. It was definitely not worth the drive.

It's a joke.  Last time I went there I was a kid in the 80's.

This was my introduction to Carolina BBQ. Prior to it, I had only had KC, Memphis, and Texas.

That is in Virginia. You were introduced to Virginian barbecue.

I was introduced to Carolina style BBQ at a location in VA. If Sofia Vergara let me give her a motorboat here in the U.S., doesn't mean those boobs aren't still Colombian.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
