He gets fired from what is basically a dying media and eventually winds up on the king of sports networks. Real head scratcher. You'd expect him to go back to BFE Texas and report on high schools or something as mundane.

For me, it's an observation and not a lone one.  Since the CJL debacle, he's led on all, if not nearly all, USF breaking news.  If pure coincidence, well, then it's just odd.  If not pure coincidence, it does beg some questions.

I meant McMurphy. Why else screw up at a job you've been at for decades, been an editor, won awards, etc..

And I liked Gruden, I can put up with mean faces. It's loss of physical restraint that I don't like.

Kinda a no brainer, IMO. He has the most on-field experience, he's Taggart's guy.

Feel bad for Bench, hopefully he can make the most of any opportunities he gets.

In the future, they should open some practices so that people on this board who live in Tampa can go out and see players and give their honest assessment. Then things like White being named started wouldn't be so surprising.

Everyone needs to remember that Bench is one snap away from leading this team. We saw how long Floyd lasted last yr.

 

My fear is that MW is a practice QB and Steven might be more 0f a gameday guy.

I think the reason they haven't done that yet is because they don't want message board posters out there with their two cents of football knowledge acting like they are authorities on the matter. Just my opinion.
