Who will be QB?

I am leaning Bench.

I think it will be Bench. White has been better in practice but it hasn't translated into game performance (spring). Bench not as good in practice but was much better in game (spring). I think the scrimmage on Saturday is the key to the starter and it will be announced on Monday, after CWT has time to review the "tapes".

Didn't Bench also have the top 3 receivers for the spring game?

 

That's pretty much why just flat out comparing White and Bench's spring game numbers is completely pointless.  Mark Sanchez just went 11 for 12 with 2 TD's and about 170+ yards in tonights pre-season game and Nick Foles played poorly.  Does it now mean Sanchez should start?  Nope.  He did that with the backups.  Still a nice outing but you really can't take too much from it.

 

The #1 thing I took from the spring game this year that left a positive impact on me was the pacing by both QB's.  Both were getting their plays in quickly and snapping the ball with 8 to 15 seconds left on the clock, and both knew where the 1st guy in the progression was going to me immediately.   That was a good sign.

Bench has already transferred once, I doubt he'll do it again.

I did and my opinion on the matter is well documented.

White's height & arm strength make him the started, as well as the experience gained at the end of last season.  Bench is a solid back up (maybe the best we've had in years).  If White learned from his mistakes last year (mainly, forcing throws), and can spread the ball, he'll (we'll) be successful.

 

If the RBs play well, and the line hold, I think the TE/WR group will excel.  If things start to click, we could have a good bunch out there.

 

We may learn a little v WCU, but the real test will be Maryland.  I'm hoping White play 1/2, Bench plays 3/8 and Wilson gets 1/8 v WCU, so they all play against different defenses.

You still work in your 2nd string QB with the first team for reps. If White goes down, Bench will have no problem taking the offense over.

I like Bench, I like him more than White...but I believe White has the job.

Looking at the camp tweets.  Flowers throws 3 TDs with some nice runs in todays scrimmage.  Let the fun begin......

Flowers isn't starting. We have no idea which D he put up all those TD's against.

I'd be shocked if White isn't starting.
