5 wins or more he has no worries.

3 or 4 wins, depends on the quality of the losses and the attendance/interest level in the program. If we are getting blown out and are putting only 15k to 20k in the stands because it is a poor, boring product, I think Taggart finds himself in the same place Heath was. I don't know how Taggart's relationship is with Harlan. Just remember that he is not Harlan's hire. So there is no telling what will happen if things are "iffy" on the field.

2 or less he has some big troubles.

3 max... and still has to win at least 5 games to be held for year 3... my opinion...

Ditto

5 wins and they will give him year 3 and 4

Any less and he is toast.

Barring something extraordinary off the field, there is no way he is let go if we only win 4 games this year ...

Financially I do not think we have the option, putting aside whether Harlan & Co. even wanted to.  We are stuck...hopefully for the better.

There's no reason why USF shouldn't be 3-1 after the first four games. If we're 1-3 and we get blown out by NC State, prepare for another two win season at best. NC State is by far our easiest game of the season besides our opener. They are a terrible team with a second year coach and substantial turnover between this season and last season. We should only be a dog for the Maryland game with our first four at home. Just my two cents...

Remember last year when we said at least we'd be 2-2 to start the year...

NC State is probably saying the exact same thing about us.

He needs at least 4 years to build HIS team. One of the major reasons why Skippy only got three was because the talent level was dropping sharply. That is not happening with Taggart. We will win more than two games this year though.

Wow, that's your expectation, more than two games?  If we win less than five, he's on a seat hotter than hades.  Remember, this is a Doug Woolard hire and we know how those have fared.
