3 max... and still has to win at least 5 games to be held for year 3... my opinion...

After watching the spring game I am not too concerned... It was night and day compared to last years preseason scrimmage. Bench might be a stud this year and the o-line is actually offering some protection. D-line might drop off a bit given all of the departures but we'll get it back.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  He'll get AT LEAST as much time as Holtz got.  No less, possibly more.  If 3 years comes and goes and we're no better, it's up to the AD to determine if they want to continue our tradition of paying multiple coaches.

I will only accept another disasterous year and give Taggart a third term, IF he brings in another STRONG recruiting class for 2015.

I honestly do not see USF near 2007 levels, until Taggart's 2015 year.

He gets at least 3, and would be surprised if he didn't get 4, assuming we can win at least 1-2 more games each year from now until then.

He needs at least 4 years to build HIS team. One of the major reasons why Skippy only got three was because the talent level was dropping sharply. That is not happening with Taggart. We will win more than two games this year though.

Taggart's resume shows that his second year will net more than two wins.

If he wins one or 0 I think it would be hard to keep him aboard. But even 2 wins, if he appears in line for another good haul in recruiting he will be kept on.

Great answer.  I think he's got the talent, but can he coach 'em up (or let the OC and DC run their units, while he operates on the big picture)?

An improvement over last year (low bar) will hold of any thought of termination...but his 3rd year will be mainly his players, and no excuses.  I worry more that a 2-3 (or even 4) win season hurts our recruiting...but that may still be a year away before feeling that impact.

I'm hoping for 6 wins, but expecting 4-5.  I just don't see any gimmies, except WCarolina).  UConn always plays us tough, and even tho' their RB is gone, they have some QBs, and a WR (#85) who should have gone pro last draft.  We should hope for those 2, and Tulsa & Memphis.  I think we can beat SMU.  So, that could be 5.

But, we'll likely be dogs v Maryland, NC State, Wiscy, ECarolina, Cincy and UCF (man, I hate saying that).

So, 6 is definitely within grasp, with good QB play, and a decent D.  But it's tough sledding right out of the blocks.
