After the scathing draft reviews, he's going late..6th or 7th.

Should have stayed another year and tried to improve his stock

where have you seen that?

I heard it was the meal plans fault :stirpot:

His problem is making statements like that show teams he'll need constant babysitting to make good choices.  Is he worth the time and effort required to get him back into playing shape?  Obviously during his RS year he didn't.  He didn't even get there in his one year of action at USF.  He'll get drafted on potential, but will have a short leash and I could see him out of the league by pre-season.

Even tho' he was only a Bull for a year, and didn't come close to matching the hype here, I wish him well.

Here's the latest Sports Illustrated review, showing Lynch as OLB.  Not a very flattering write up, but hard to argue with any of the points.

I love that they didn't blame USF at all in that report.

I think he gets drafted late by a team that isn't afraid to work on him or cut him if he doesn't produce. A team that doesn't need to continue to bulk up late in the draft and can afford to maybe "waste" a pick (unless he actually pans out).

Very late. He would have been worlds ahead if he stayed another year under the master coach t, instilling discipline and size

All about effort, and he didn't give any.

When I saw him in Vero his first year year, I was surprised at how unmenacing he looked.  I recalled seeing him at ND, when we played them, and seeing what a beast he was, even from the USF section...monster.  Then, I see him walking around Vero practice, looking almost muscle free.  I know it was off season, but I expected to see an NFL-ready beast.  I thought, "Maybe he's just wearing loose clothes, and if isn't a football weight since he's not playing this year". IWish I knew how to paste a photo from my laptop, so I could share it...but trust me. Not a scary dude.

But I'm guessing he stopped hitting the gym once he decided to leave ND, and maybe didn't hit it hard since.

Again, not beating the guy up, but wondering if he's done ANY reflecting at what he needs to do if he wants to stick in the NFL  Whoever drafts him better have a good meal plan. :lmao:
