Well, not to get back to the topic or anything, but did anyone else think DeDe might have gone before Lynch? I honestly thought he would after seeing what Lynch was (not) able to do at the combine.

nobody that knows anything about football.

Don't have to know much about football to know that Dede was more of a playmaker throughout his career than Lynch was.

Lynch was an All American.

Yeah, Marshawn Lynch did great at Berkeley.

Oh, you mean Aaron Lynch?  Guess I'm confused ... Wish I could have seen some of that All-American play at USF.

I thought Lynch would go earlier, only because of the "Once 1st Round projection".  I figured someone would take a chance, but not TOO soon.

Lattimore was clearly the MVP for our team, and played with 10x the heart of Lynch, and always showed class.  But USF has endured 3 losing seasons, and that doesn't help our guys get much of a spotlight.

Lynch was gifted with a frame & talent...but he's not even come close to optimizing it over the last few years.  I'm hoping Lattimore can fight his way on a roster spot.  Selvie was similar...he's likely worked harder than most to keep clawing his way onto rosters, and it's finally paying off.

I like Dede better but in the draft you have to take Lynch before Lattimore.

The alpha relationship made me think of this for no good reason ...

Lynch might fold if he does not make the 49ers squad this year...

Dede will continue to fight even if he gets cut a couple of times...The kid can flat out hit.

on Monday night football will he say he is from south florida, notre dame or his high school?

I also wonder whether announcers will say he former nd player as opposed to a former usf player

do both schools get credit for him being in the pros??
