Whoever it is really needs to retain the core group of Egbunu, Perry, Collins and make sure Holston gets here.

Allen will stay. At this point, the rest are either bodies or unproven yet.

 

That is why USF must spend big on this hire. Not much of a chance of keeping those guys if they reach for some young unproven assistant coach.

We can do much better.  No need to fish in smaller ponds. 

 

 

You don't think donations are way down? Bring in someone that can win. Period. And if you save money doing it, bonus. Depending on what happens in the Sun Belt and NCAA Tournament, this guy will be at a top program next year, just like what happened to FGCU's coach.

 

 

I would imagine donations are down.  But it's time we spend money correctly.

 

Who would drive more donations?  Don Tranbill or Bruce Pearl (for example)?
