If cwt can show next years recruits improvement then hopefully he should get a even better class next year.

I would love to see usf turn into the Stanford  of the south...then maybe we can make a jump into a better conference.

We ran option plays with Bench last year at times. The 49er's do just fine with their pro style offense and their spread offense qb. We simply didn't have the O-Line talent to run Taggarts offense last year

By the way, this is the first year that I can remember us getting a lot of good offensive players. When Leavitt was here, all we ever focused on was the defense. Or maybe he just couldn't get offensive talent (a whole bunch, not just one or two guys).

 

Anyway, I'm really hopeful with this new direction, at least on paper. But, when you look at the good teams, they are always bringing in talent. You don't see 'Bama bringing in a #50 class and playing like they do.
