Its called tacking ur lumps with a true Freshman. ..it sucks but we will be better off in the long run for it

It works, and it's a gutsy call, and you love it.

 

Its gutsy and idiotic, just like it was when Payton did it in the super bowl. just because it succeeds doesn't make it any less dumb.

Taggart's bad decision and a missed tackle later makes for a short field and an easy TD for Houston.

I am glad he made the ballsy move. It didn't work this go around, but like the aggressiveness.

 

I'm sorry but that was not time to try an onside kick. You are still in the game on the road with a freshman QB against a team that scores 42 points per game and wins by an average of 20 pts per. The risk out weights the reward way to much in that situation.
