And the dropped passes? Weak o line? Is that the qbs fault? I hate the move but I'm not the coach

i agree

it is pointless

white must not be the  qb of the future to waste a year like this

You have to see what he has in live games. Represent White. It is your time to shine.

he has to start every game from here on out no matter the result after burning that RS this late.

Agree.

We needed to do it.

I agree with the decision to go with White, but at this point i think he has to stick with White at this point, not yank him after every pick 6.....do not kill the kids confidence!! It is Whites team now, period

As soon as I saw him in the game, I said that he'd start at Houston. Only way it makes sense ti burn the redshirt.

The real question is, if he turns out to be a super stud, what does it do to our recruiting?

finally. smart move. see what we have in white. if he's not the answer then he can use that to sign a recruit to play right away.

stephem morris of top 10 miami had his red shirt burned with 6 games left in true freshman season. teddy bridgewater didn't start the year his true freshman season but was held out until he had a better grasp of offense.

this move lets QB recruits know he isn't afraid to play them from day 1. that is huge for quality QB recruits to know.

you can deflect blame all you want but when your top 2 QBs have completion percentages below 42% and turnovers galore then I'm guessing it's on them.

all teams have dropped passes. if your QB can't get the ball out in under 3 seconds then you can't blame the o-line for giving up a sack. we sacked and pressured bridgewater all day. didn't seem to slow him down.

insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting differenrt results.

And thats the huge differnce between bridgewater and eveld, pocket presence!!!! Teddy sensed the pressure and found check down receivers....eveld panics whenever the pocket is closing down

Taggart announced in his post game radio show after being questioned by Louk & Robinson that White would start at Houston.  So what happens when the 4th QB of the year doesn't lead us to any offensive TD's.  Will people on here finally admit that it is the dropped passes and lack of pass protection that are getting these kids beat up?  I hope we put up 40 vs. Houston but really don't think that will happen.

what happens if our completion percentage goes up by 20% ? why are people so afraid to let a freshman play and why don't they think he can be successful.

he is 1 year younger then bench who is a true sophomore.

none of the other three have ever proven to be good passers. none of them had completion percentages higher than 55% in high school.

white is accurate. his completion percentage last year was nearly 70% with a 10:1 TD:int ratio.

all teams have dropped passes. leaky protection for the most part is due to QBs not being able to read and get the ball out in time. we average less than 3 sacks per game given up. let's not act like this is why our QBs barely have a 40% completion percentage.
