I'm being serious... did UCF have attendance issues last year, even after coming off of a conference and Fiesta Bowl win?  I assumed they filled that stadium up due to it's lack of size.

Averaged an announced attendance of 37K ... no sellouts, with the closest being the home opener against a school a half hour away with an awesome halftime show:

seriously, i've been on the ucf boards. even the nicest attempts to have statistical football conversation gets derailed with a bunch of belligerent fratguy responses about cows and manshaft or whatever flavor of the week is going on there. it correlates well to the fanbase's perception by other teams, so not surprised.

Attendance down: Actual attendance for the football team's season finale Friday against UCF at Raymond James Stadium was 27,368, according to the Tampa Sports Authority.

Now for the bleak news: Only three times in seven home games this year did actual attendance eclipse 20,000. The average — 19,317 — was USF's worst since 2001 and represented a decrease of more than 1,000 fans a game from '13 (20,379).

Attendance talk from a fan of team that is barely making the Div 1 minimum requirements in attendance.  Notice I said attendance because if it were on the field performance well, usf would barely be making 1-aa.
