Fair enough. But Eveld may actually be the best option to groom for us to win this season. Winning now trumps preparing to win in the future.

chris leak was the best option for UF to win as a senior and yet tim tebow played in all 14 games as a true freshman. he only played about 10-15 snaps per game but it was invaluable experience. they are not mutually exclusive. you see coaches work young QBs in all the time to gain experience. not just in 1-aa game blowouts either.

I don't think that comparison is even remotely applicable. Tebow usually came in for only special situations like red zone mixups. Plus that team had a top ten defense and most importantly was winning. There is obviously more than that, but it's a crazy example to use as a comparison...completely different situation.

Good coaches who are at losing programs put in their best players. Winning is the best motivator for players and programs as a whole.

This is the most insane comparison I have seen in my many years on this board.
