it is pretty ridiculous to expect a coach to come in and immediately fix everything. The MSU game was terrible and it really shakes up any confidence the team or fans have in the program. But there are plenty more games this season to think abouot.

We all need to shake off this loss as fans and move on. Back when we had a few close calls with some 1-AA/FCS teams in the past-- the bottom line was got out of there with the W. The fact that we got thumped is concerning but it still is just an L, like it would be had we lost by a point.

I just hope the team really embraces what happened and moves in the right direction

Terrible example.  The Bucs were loaded and it was the perfect storm playing the Raiders in the Superbowl

Well first off, Dungy couldn't win (or get to) a Super Bowl with a 'loaded" Buc's team, right? And second, Gruden had to get the Bucs actually to the Super Bowl didn't he??? And who here actually is qualified to say the talent level on the Bulls?

They were a winning team...that couldn't get over the hump.  Didn't have that fire to win.

The few that were here when Leavitt was gather the new players around and tell horror stories from days of old of The Jim.  Note, this was posted on Youtube by an apparent UCF fan.

Still not the same.  Dungy couldn't get them over the hump because of his offensive mindset not because of talent.  Gruden had a different offense and left the defense alone.  Anyone eyes could see that the Bucs D was stacked.

Wait, the media said that USF's defensive front is stacked.

Wish Chucky would stop the high school gig, if he already hasn't, and stop by to consult.

Re: the Leavitt video; all that passion and we still lost to Rutgers.  His own mother-in-law left the 31-0 game (not the one in the video) early.

It comes off negative, to me.

I would kill for someone with that kind of passion for the program right now - it's something that has been sorely lacking of late.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
