I just find it comical that the only person who's ever had "insider" information is Bill. And as I pointed out in the Trickett thread, he's doing a bang up job of it.

You pinhead, I'm not claiming to have any new info on Dyers. He ain't talking.UL bloggers are all over the map. I'm waiting to see, rather than crying about how we lost him. As to the Trickett thread, The famous golf caddy source was what everyone was crying about. Never happened. Still. I  never said we were getting Trickett either, just waited until he actually said something.

going to the beach with the dog, have fun Nancy.

Just like there was no way anyone knew Trickett was going to WVU?

Yea, the insiders tend to know what's up. If he wanted to be a Bull, he would be by now. He wants that UL offer.

He may still end up here, but definitely agree, it will only be if that Louisville offer never comes through. Edited by JTrue

I'm not surprised to see the buzz at Lville, and if I was Dyer, I'd lean that way, too...for my ONE & DONE season.  But if Lville really has reversed its position of passing on Dyer in early July (assuming THOSE sources were true), perhaps Lville did a 180 because they do NOT want Dyer coming to USF, knowing how it would elevate our team, and threaten their easy walk thru the AAC this year.  An NC run op will be this year.  After losing Teddy B and joining the ACC, life gets a lot tougher.

So, Strong may be desperate, and convince the Lville brass that taking a 2nd look at a 3rd chance is needed to keep USF at arm's length.  Yes, I realize there's a heavy dose of homerism in this theory, but it's still quite plausible.

I been saying  the same thing for a while. I think it's the only reason he even got a sniff of UL the 2nd time around. We are the one place, they don't want MD to be.

If UL only takes him to keep him away from USF it sounds like they don't really want him then. Hope he chooses to be where he is wanted so he can contribute, not the place that wants him just to hold back another university's team.

I don't think it's the ONLY reason...but it may've been the catalyst to give Strong the stroke to push his leadership to take him ("OK, guys, we were cool with WKU or Troy taking him, but do you REALLY want Dyer to gash US, and the rest of the AAC?  Come on now, get him in here, and I'll handle him.  Worst case, he screws up, we boot him and he plays for no one else in 2013 and goes all Honey Badger and heads to the NFL.  We need him with us...so we won't be against us").

Come Monday, pull the offer.

Thanks for playing kid, really hope UL offers you. If not, have fun working at Burger King.

As of right now, he has ONE fbs offer, ours. This kid does not hold the cards, we do. If he doesn't want to be here, **** him.

Let the kid decide where he wants to go and see if he has other opportunities.
