Joe schad and Bo weekley said strong had turned him down yesterday

Who is Bo Weekley?

Charlie Strong's opposite? :roflmao:

Took me a second to get that ....  ;)

Looking back, that may be referring to Bo Mattingly. maybe?

Watching golf and listening to podcast at same time.

Not sure if someone posted this, but here's th Lville buzz someone noted.  One guy (FWIW) claims Strong is friends with Dyer's current coach...which is suspect, since I don't think he has a current coach, or even a recent one, frankly).

I think we'll hear next week, and this may be the busiest topic, barring some great news coming out of this weekend's Sling N Shoot.

This may or may not have anything to do with this but Charlie Strong is from Arkansas.

It may come down to Strong v Taggart, or Lville better odds of a great season v USF's near certainty of being the featured back, with 250+ carries and a resume for the NFL (I really don't expect him to play anywhere > one year, unless he's really intent on getting a 4 year degree).

One question: Why wouldn't the media be all over this if he really was in Louisville right now??? He certainly got a lot of media coverage when he visited us and when Louisville, Arkansas, TCU, and Marshall "so-called" turned him away... The same with the supposed Miami visit...

I think the UL thing is halo effect, from when they were still in play. Everyone with contacts in this thinks UL is out. Not  unless someones golf caddy shows up with the real skinny.

I think having Dyer at UL would give a boost for them to make a real run at a National Championship game.

Joe schad and Bo Mattingly said strong had turned him down yesterday

That means Louisville has a good core of RB's and Strong does not want to upset his existing RB's and/or recruits.  At least that is what it says to me.
