I think people are confusing the general disdain of the entire population for anything Jersey with a "rivalry".

It's because people feel the same about UCF, though UCF will become a rivalry so long as we both stay in the same conference

This sucks. Now I'm depress. If a Bulls fan was in a 5 year coma, and to see what happen to our Bulls. They would beg to be put back in a coma.

I must be in the minority, I love the UCF game. It's the only game we play where I get to tailgate with good friends of mine at the other school, talk ****, and enjoy a full house either here or there. FSU was fun, but the first game was a surprise, and the second I had no illusions regarding the result so it took a little of the buildup out of both. Miami...none of their fans actually went to the school so it's silly to even talk about the experience.

Our domination aside, this game is an annual thing now. Even if you don't not consider it a rivalry, but its going to be. It will be our biggest too.

You're not alone on this one. The UCF will help get butts in seats, and it'll give USF fans something to get riled up about. I'm all in favor of invoking a little emotion out of our generally apathetic fan base. Let's not kid ourselves, since, for the most part, we're all pretty die-hard on this message board. The general USF fan, however, isn't. UCF gives us something that we were slowly developing with WVU before they bolted to the Big 12. Embrace this for what it is, and hope that USF is on the winning side of things for the next 4 meetings. Hopefully, we'll get an opportunity to move onto another conference as well.

2 - 6  against Rutgers with 4-0 against UCF.

I wonder what Rutgers thinks of USF...maybe not too different than our thoughts of UCF?

I just know that I loathe Rutgers. Just something about Rutgers that irritates me to no end.

Rutgers has no reason to hate us like we hate them because a) they're 6-2 against us and b ) they weren't sodomized by the referees against us when they were sitting in position to make a run at the title game
