Couldn't stay awake for the game so recorded it. Will watch it at some point.  This is such great news. Finally a Bull on offense in the NFL.

BJ Daniel's success gives me hope for this season with our beloved Bulls. His success in the NFL really sheds a light on how atrocious the coaching was here under Skippy Kragholtz and his island of misfit coaches. With just average to above average coaching, we can get to a 6-6 or 7-5 season. CWT said something in one of his interviews that got my attention. I'm paraphrasing but he said that he spoke to opposing coaches and they all said this team has talent but the players weren't put in the right position to succeed or something to that effect. Translation - The coaching was putrid!

Here's to erasing the Skippy Kragholtz stain.

If you watched UConn get handled by Towson St, for the 3rd largest win margin by a 1-AA over a 1-A, you can add that to the list of "better" wins, bringing it to 4 (McNeese, FAU, Memphis, now UConn).  Should get at least one v SMU/Houston.

 

All we need to hold serve there, and pick up a few upsets, and we're a 6 or 7 win season, with a TON of youngsters.

 

Saw BJ last night.  IMO, he seems to get better (and more comfortable) with each NFL game.  He's gone from most people surprised he was drafted, to wondering if he's make the scout team to possibly being the legit #2 QB on the NFC champs.  Great press for USF, and good things for a good guy.

I know the stat doesn't mean much, and means even less during the Preseason but Daniels finished the preseason with the 2nd highest Passer Rating in the NFL.

Saw the game last night. BJ played most of the second half. He started off slow but shined during the 4th. Even made the top spot in the top 10 on ESPN. No way he does not make the 53.

^{I owe BJ Daniels an apology.  It's becoming more and more clear that he wasn't the problem with the offense.  It was coaching and the lack of buy-in from the team as a whole.  Next time I see BJ, I owe him a beverage or two.  He's a good man and doing USF proud.}
