I do agree with you that playing like we do is not the key. It's a problem. I think Stan needs to get some confidence in his guys. What can we learn from FGCU? Their coach has confidence in letting them play the game. He's built confidence. Our style robs one of it.

Anybody who has watched the last 2 Eagles games(I'm assuming you couldn't watch any before then because god knows where they were telecast) know they come out of the locker room in the 2nd half playing their up tempo magic. Don't be surprised if this thing get's real in the 2nd half. Eagles just need to get back to penetrating without getting stripped. They came out and took it to UF to start the game. They are not intimidated by this team.FL got some gift calls and a 3 pter than bounced about 6 ft above the rim or we would be tied.

So true, but it's not just FGCU coach, I know you are very knowledgeable on hoops and you see that most coaches allow their guys to go out and just play. Look at all the turnovers FGCU had in the half. Heath would have been yanking guys out and calling timeouts every minute, not showing confidence in his team to play through it. It's hard for a team to get into any rhythm playing scared to make a mistake. Funny thing is when he has kinda gotten out of the way the team usually plays better. Brock and LeDay really benefited from a looser rope.

I did see the last two games, and I expect FGCU to find another run.  But neither Georgetown or San Diego State had the size and athletic ability that the Gators have.  

 

But, the Gators have thrown some games away and didn't look too good to start this game.  Hopefully it will be a fun second half.

Should be interesting, the Gators are a team that can put their foot down on opponents throats when they are ahead in the 2nd half. Strong defensive team
