Mental mistakes at the end there cost us.  5 points is not bad, but we have our work cut out for us the second half.

 

We came back from 8-down in the first half to take the lead.

Main screen? Not sure what you mean.

But it really is a shame to see.  Watching the Oklahoma-UCLA game before-hand, and there seemed to be a bigger crowd there in Columbus than in Lubbock. I get that Texas Tech isn't playing, but I wonder how the NCAA looks at this when selecting host sites.

Yeah its weird, Dont know why TT got to host when they were not the higher seed? You think the games would had been at Cal.  I know the Sweet 16 rounds and final 4  are put out to bid, Not sure if they do 1st 2nd rounds that way?  Would had been sweet if we got to host the first 2 rounds.

Its not based on higher seeds.  The schools still have to put in a bid to host and the NCAA tries to put the hosts in that region as a way to boost attendance.  They did away with the neutral site games, like the men have, because attendance was so bad.
