That's it!  I think you nailed it!  The lack of acceptance of "War Flamingo" is 100% to blame for the entire downfall of USF athletics over the last few years.  Also probably why we have been squeezed

Funny...my ears were burning.  So I came over here even though every time I look at my ESPN iphone-update about any USF athletic event, I die a little inside.  

 

BTW, even though the men suck horribly, the SunDome is still beautiful and I would go back EVERY TIME.  Oh yeah, and I'm a diehard.  Also, the Courtside Cabana is officially dead.  

 

I am eternally grateful.

One thing you have got to admit....you see that dang flamingo in every shot possible when they pan out to the crowds. I remember seeing it during the Auburn game and was like, "What the heck are those?". That bright pink is a beacon.
