Willie Taggart on discipline:

"We had to plow the field and find the snakes and chop their heads off."

There is such thing as a ****** offseason, and we are NOT having one. Despite no games being played, Taggart has produced a few results thus far:

- 9 of the 10 highest rated recruits we have all committed under Taggart.

- Program excitement! Who here attended the introductory conference? Or the signing day event?

- Look at Tuberville up in Cincy - pissing off recruits and high school coaches. Taggart is respected and will run a clean, admirable program

Who here doesn't miss the 07, 08, 09 days? The swagger, the upsets, the no-excuses mentality? We have that back in Taggart.

I am so glad that I chose to ignore "Whyyy"'s posts a long time ago.

All any of you want to do on here lately is argue over semantics, it's pathetic.

Coach Taggart is building something here. What will he build? Nobody knows for sure, but it's nice to see that these kids are being worked like never before and are buying in on what he's selling.

Anyone who still has a stick up their @$$ and is bitter over last season, USF sports, not getting laid, doing the dishes, or whatever else has these pessamist's panties in a wad...get the f*ck over it. Jump on board or get the f*ck out.

Lead, follow, or get the F out of the way!

A building is built brick by brick, board by board, nail by nail. He's gathering the materials for making a solid foundation of what we hope is a succesful program.

@gregauman: Looks like USF football had first winter workouts today. Impressive to see reaction to Taggart-era regimen from Bulls players via Twitter.

As painful as it is for me to say, we need to just forget the past altogether and look forward. Trying to spin that the years immediately previous to Holtz's regime was THAT much better than his short time here is disingenuous. What kind of swagger was there when you crapped the bed with late season collapses? Upsets? Holtz had 3 of the top ones in our short history, too. Excuses .... no excuses ... I don't give a **** either way what they say publicly. Just figure out what needs to be fixed and do your damnedest to fix it. To incorporate the tired "bus" theme, rip off the rear view mirrors ...

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
