Man, you Bulls aren't excited over Swanson?

 

If you are into rankings and positional talent, he's the highest recuit we've ever pulled in for this position. That says a lot.

 

He could very well turn out to be the best player on the team for this class. Well, that's expecting a lot, but on paper he has a lot of potential.

 

Kudos to the coaching staff for pulling in Swanson and Bench!

I'm excited, but that Academic Committee has taken the wind out of my sails every time I've gotten excited about an academically questionable recruit. Memories of Kamran Joyer and Waverly Austin are still fresh.

Just a quick update.....Kennard Swanson played bothways in HS defense and offense..he scored several touchdowns and a 2 point conversion.. he can read the field...

 

I see him as a lead blocker and also as a pitch to guy on short yardage. 6'  255# good size to blow them out..and get a TD or first down.

Touche. I'm assuming because its a Freshman instead of transfer its different. I thought Waverly had to add a credit and was doing so at USF for the transfer to be complete.

I do know that transfer students get accepted conditionally upon final transcript from the college as when I transferred to USF from Eastern Washington University after 1 year I couldn't enroll in my second semester until my full transcript was approved.
