Too soon to say, but you have to wonder if the offense is more attractive to RBs than QBs.  I would point to Andrew Luck, but when Taggart is telling OLine recruits that he wants to run the ball 40 times per game, that would tend to dissuade QB recruits, I would think.

Power running opens up the passing lanes. QB's love great running attacks. Also, being on a conference championship team never bruised anyone's ego either,

I don't think its the type of offense. Hs is full of spread type qbs so that limits his pool. We need a qb that can do it all.

Right.  But if you are a running back, do you want to be told the team will run 15 times per game or 40?

 

If you are a QB, do you want to hear the team will throw the ball 15 times, or 50?

 

The Houston offense is an easy sell for a QB.

I get that, but 40 rushes leaves 20+ passes at a minimum. See Bama offense.
