I'm guessing 4 wins in conference, if that.

 

I just looked at the schedule and I'm not so sure they get to 4 wins. They might but I would not be surprised to see them win less then that.

 

Stan Heath could have a record all to himself that might never be broken if things don't turn around over the next week. I believe he needs to win at lease 3 games to avoid it.

Bulls came out flat and got their ass kicked, effort and energy just wasn't there tonight. This team will not turn the corner until the effort and energy is consistent for every game.

I think Jim Boeheim was right, he just his team just didn't play well offensively. People got upset about this comment from him because it took away a great effort from USF...

 

"I've never seen a worse offensive performance. Three-on-one fast breaks, wide-open layups (that weren't converted) … just awful."

Nova is a middle of the pack Big East team at best, hardly a threat to be among the top dogs this season barring a few miracles. Yet they totally out classed USF on the road in a game Heath described as must win.

This team has played the same all year. That play looks better against ****** teams like FAMU.

AC always looks like somebody just killed his dog. Rarely see that kid get fired up or try and fire up the the team. Probably because he's getting fouled to death all the time

I wonder if anybody in the media will ever have the guts to ask Stan to explain his offensive philosophy and what is he actually trying to have his players do out there? I doubt it, must be nice to be a HC on this level and be so cuddled by the media, a very small one at that. Many coaches would love to be in his situation.


The poor boys just look so confused and really bad against good coached teams.

Along that same train of thought.  Spent halftime talking with a 'nova fan that follows USF a bit and he was wondering what Heath's offensive strategy is.  Looks the same as last year.  Pass the ball around the perimeter for 30 seconds and then force up a shot.

 

Honestly, it is just horrible to watch.  Does anyone remember a good entry pass to a guy down in the box?  Does anyone remember a player coming off a screen, receiving a pass and have an open look?  These guys set horrible picks and the cutters don't rub their guy off the horrible screen.  Just a sad, sad offensive team.

You have to have someone in the post to throw it to. We have a stretch four for a center and a SG as a PF with three guards... We have absolutely no inside game and couldn't buy a foul on the drive... We will miss Waverly Austin for the rest of the year... We were thin with bigs before he left now we're ****ed
