Brissett to transfer from UF

I think Jacoby Brissett is an awesome backup option if we strike out of Woulard.

He's very different than a lot of other transfers... Not in trouble, grades are fine... Simply lost out to Driskel.

We are all assuming Eveld is the guy next year... If we get Woulard fine... If we don't, Brissett redshirts for a year and is ready to start.

I would love to have Brissett, as would most teams. But I think he is MUCH more likely to go to a team that has a senior this coming year and not much behind him.

Brissett for 2 years equates to a red shirt year for White + other potential QB(s) and 1 year to be further mentored and be ready to start as a sophomore.

Would give White and Woulard 3 starting years, potentially.

E: if he can't win a transfer appeal, he would be pointless to pickup. We're better off getting JUCO that can play right away if not another freshman (like Woulard).

He is absolutely worth it from our perspective. No way he wants to come here when he can find a situation better for him.
