Wow. We got a whole bunch of chicken littles in this thread. Not saying that wasn't a bad game, but saying we're not even an NIT team is a stretch at this point.

And everyone bashing AC tonight is just funny. He was double-teamed the entire night, was guarded by Crawford who is probably one of the fastest guards I've seen, and was being mugged the entire night without getting a single call from the officials.

You've been here long enough to recognize the one who made the NIT comment, and probably bashed AC, and should realize his comments on game threads are strictly for entertainment purposes only ....

I didn't see who posted it. I was quickly skimming through all the posts and noticed a few AC comments and the one about the NIT. My bad.

Trust me, you see comments like that and the chance is in the high 90's that it came from our resident Sally Sunshine ...

Look who you're quoting, and look at some of his other posts in this thread.

BTW, it's hard to knock Rudd's decision to enter his name into the draft. Very smart move, what it does is it get's his name out there, and gives him a bit of feedback on what he needs to do to step up and improve his game.

My big take away from this game shows me that the team has learned what it takes to win.

There was no way that BGSU should have been close at the end (we were up by 11 with 10 minutes to go). Then, no way we should have gone to OT (down 7 with 1 min to go).

In years past we would have just folded. I think it shows that these guys have heart and know what it takes to win.

This team may have a better record than last year's at this point but I still don't think they come close to last year's success in conference .... hope I'm wrong. The GMU and UCF games will give us a better gauge as to where we are heading into conf play ...

I understand that but he could still find out from sources in NBA. There have been poor decisions when they hear false or later changed opinions

Down seven with like 40 seconds to go, they WERE done. That's what made the comeback so incredible. They played like crap and the fact that they won in triple overtime against that team doesn't suddenly change that fact. Just like the comeback against Nevada doesn't mean the football team wasn't terrible. Hopefully, the difference is that the basketball team just suffered a one-game lapse of concentration or something.
