the fact kevin steele's name keeps coming up is not good. saw bulls247 twitter mentioned something about it and 'what they're hearing'. i know it was only one game where they gave up 70 to WVU, but they gave up shitloads of points all year in 2011 (that high scoring clemson-maryland game was testament enough to not get this guy)

perhaps they're just waiting for the UF team to get back in town in order to get to tampa and meet if it's going to be durkin. tomorrow's friday, so perhaps they make a deal and announce tomorrow with whomever.

i don't think money was the deciding factor in his case. we would've prbly paid him a lil bit more to be a DC, but he figured why take more responsibility for the same amt of money. well that's my guess

He wanted a different direction. My guess is that he thought he would have a better shot and a quicker shot at a HC job by working in the SEC as a LB coach, as compared to a DC in the meltdown of the BE. My guess is that he would much rather be in Florida, but this is the quickest path to being a HC again.
