Wonder if Tresey would come back? I thought he did a pretty good job in his one year stint here, and he was pretty good at Cincy before that. I wonder what kind of recruiting relationships he made during his time here?

While he was here the board were lit up with the fans wanting him fired.

The people who were all in one of getting Petrino or Davis will never be happy with the moves Taggart realistically has the ability to make (due to our assistant pool). Because Taggart wasn't "their guy" no move will ever be the right move. they gotta hold that "I told you so" card in case things don't work out, because that's more important than supporting the incoming coach....

The point is, the board gets lit up by folks arguing points all across the board when it comes to a Bulls football issue. Not everyone wanted Tresey fired.

Probably going to take crap for this, BUT....

I know nothing about WT, and PURELY at face value, so far all I can see is that we hired another coach, who was highly recommended by others, who has not succeeded as a HC at the BCS level, and turned around a non-BCS team. I see less of the good-ole-boy syndrome, and I'm not this guys judge or

We don't need a coach who has been successful or turned around programs at the BCS level. On paper, our last two hires appeared to have the stuff to succeed here. First one didn't work out. Second will have his opportunity.
