I figured DC at USF is a quicker move to a good HC job than LBs at Ark...... Guess I was wrong.

If we lose him to Arkansas, I'll be so pissed...that place is trash.

It's the University of Arkansas, not Arkansas-Little Rock ...

Doesn't matter now :(. Welp, who's next up on our list...good thing we didn't put all our eggs in one basket...right?? right????!?

I read somewhere that we're going after Strong when L'ville fires him ...

so we're not hiring a DC? :D

His goal might not be a HC job. He might want to end up an SEC DC. Less stress but still good pay and prestige. Hell, he might be after Kirby Smart's job since rumor has it Saban will be leaving in a few years leaving Smart as his successor. It'd be a logical progression for him in the next 2-3 years whether he took the USF job or the Arky job. He made a smart move. He probably bid his value up pitting the two schools against one another and now he likely got a huge raise to do the same thing. He'll get paid more and face less scrutiny than at the USF job and end up a SEC DC with less work.

In short, we needed him more than he needed us.

Soooo who's our next DC? I really haven't followed up on it in awhile. Honestly no clue who a realistic option is at this point...
