Guidry isn't coming here. He and Taggart don't really get along well. IIRC Taggart wanted to switch defensive schemes in the middle of the season, Guidry didn't want to switch, but Taggart did it anyway.

I would cross Guidry off. But Mathias is a solid possibility.

If Shannon would rather coach LBs at Arky than be the DC at South Florida, he doesn't want to come back to Florida - he wants a paycheck. We'll see what happens.

The guy at FB Scoop really qualified this tweet on his Blog. No one else has this story from what I can find. Not even 93 articles on Google!!!!!

Arkansas: TCU linebackers coach Randy Shannon is leaving TCU. He has been offered the linebackers job at Arkansas...but he has other offers as well. Sources tell us they expect him to land at Arkansas; but this time of year we're always cautioned that things can change until he's "in the building" and ink is on the paper. We'll keep you updated.
