I use to get moose head, but the antlers were always get in the way.

In the midst of strife, how about some love for this rare gem from E.T.? Hilarious!!

I have a feeling that we will get word tomorrow, when all of the WKU assistant's come to USF. I am really not excited to not have some coaches that were coaching at a high level. I guess Ill give Willie the benefit of the doubt.

^^^ If that ends up coming true, I have the same concerns.

He has my "trust" right now (as Triple B enjoyed laughing at).

I think it's a situation worth being concerned about though, look what the last mid-major coaches brought in accomplished here.

I'd be fine with having coaches here that were coaching at a high level. Hopefully they keep their coaching at a high level here, and develop players to a higher level too. High levels all around. :D

I also tend to think Guidry, WKU's interim head coach and Taggart's former DC, will end up being our DC. But keep in mind that Guidry had WKU's overall defense ranked # 23 this year. I understand that it wasn't against BCS-level competition, but it wasn't too shabby. I'd still prefer Shannon over Guidry just based upon his experience and recruiting ties to Florida, but I won't jump off a building if Guidry joins Taggart at USF. We've got to give Taggart some leeway on making these hires, because after all, Taggart will be working with him much more closely than we will...

I want the best coaches, I don't care if they were coaching Pee Wee before they come to USF if they know what they are doing. A person should be hired based on their capabilities, not where they worked before. Why artificially limit the pool of candidates? Limiting the candidate pool by definition lowers the quality available.

I'm thinking we should hire ND's DC as our LB coach. Surely he would love to come here rather than continue to live in Brian Kelly's shadow.

IMO a staff filled with coaches that went 7-5 against the level of competition with WKU, may go 7-5 against the level of competition with USF. I amy be 100% of base, if CWT does fill his staff with his former WKU staff, time will tell.
