That was rumored a while ago...wonder if it has more legs now with these recent hires.

Pete Roussel was the first to report on twitter about the last two hires. He has a good track record.

Lance Guidry is the current DC at WKU. I think he was named interim HC for the bowl game. I hope CWT doesn't just import him from WKU and instead is really trying to land Shannon.

But consider this - aside from Auman's one mention about "interest" early last week we haven't heard much. Have to trust CWT will bring in the right guy, whoever it is...

personally I hope to see the rest of the coaching staff, perhaps with the exception of Blackwell, comprised of some coaches with some strong BCS level experience. Not a real fan of just moving the entire WKU crew in here. Maybe OK on the offensive side of the ball with Taggart calling his own plays, but on D really want to see some guys that have done it at the highest level for a while.
