I'm glad that guy is gone.... our boys looked winded all year long.... and soft as melted butter

I think we should hire a former Sr. DI from MCRD San Diego.... just a real nasty bastard as a motivational coach..... I remember this one bastard when I was going through quals for Force Recon; he told me when the day started he would personally see that I didn't finish.... yup, he pretty much drowned me at the end.... we need that guy, he got every ounce out of me that day until I physically could not go any further....

Can't beat a DI wearing you down. We had an prior Army Ranger and a retired SEAL in the Fed Academy for PT, those dudes smoked us every day.

I was stationed at NSWU-2 in Germany and I remember this seal, guy was easily in his 50's, didn't look like much, smoking a cigarette at the start line of our PT run. That guy put the cigarette out, put what was left in his pocket, ran, beat everyone, and I watched him light it back up as he got in his truck to leave... Utterly impressed... Oldest guy there, smoking, and whipped everyone

I wonder if he's waiting until after his bowl game to decide... Dec. 29. We're in the dead period anyways for recruiting. Or he may be getting feelers from other programs. Who knows.

Without going back thru 14 pages, where does Shannon live? It seems that if he's south of Tampa, he seems to be a shoo-in for DC.

That would definitely be an interesting hire.

Imagine Shannon and Weinke, of UM and FSU fame, working as coaches for USF. Kind of boggles the mind.
