Can't blame us for at least asking Dungy to take the job. He's a class act and great role model for the tampa bay area

Good point. I bet he was thrilled to get asked, even as he declined, and I'm guessing it helped to keep him involved with USF.

I think patience will be key...

Something this fan base has never had.

While I agree, I think most fan bases would have run out of patience if they went through what we did in the last 2 seasons.

While I agree, I think most fan bases would have run out of patience if they went through what we did in the last 2 seasons.

Probably agree with that but the problem is that the whining started at 2-1 this year ... THAT was ridiculous.

True. The whining started then because I think everyone knew how lucky we were to beat Nevada.

He does give us a certain "legitimacy" much like LRS did back in the day. Until we build our own legends, we have to borrow some. Here's hoping Coach T becomes our Bobby Bowden/ Bear Bryant...

Nah ... In most cases, I think it's a character trait. You've either got it or you don't.
