Taggart is just unproven. There is no evidence he is a bad coach. His history suggest a high potential for success, but it just hasn't been realized. USF is giving him that chance. I think Taggart will take us to where we were with Leavitt, 7 and 8 wins... .5 in conference and possibly further.

With all of the buzz around his recruiting, it sounds like will be able to get the talent here that he needs to be successful.

This is a terrible hire. There are bigger names and better coaches out there. Looks like USF took the cheap way . The program has not upgraded one bit with the hiring of Taggart. Looks like a lot of

Poor choice. Mediocre results in an easy conference. I hope this wasn't the best we could do.

I can't understand this sentiment unless you really don't understand the monumental task he was undertaking at WKU. What he accomplished there was actually pretty remarkable.

Not only that but the Sunbelt was actually pretty **** tough this year. Monroe, Lafayette, WKU, Arkansas State, Middle...

I'm not a fan of this hire, but this actually best sums up my thoughts overall....

I'm hoping he brings in some experienced coordinators and gets someone who can bring us a swarming, aggressive, rip you helmet off and .... In it defense....

And for the love of everything holy... Get a good special teams coach
