Please NO Spread Offense

I'd actually like to see us run the Air Raid.

I think it would be interesting to see what that offense would look like with Florida Athlete speed.

I also agree, we won't ever see the OL needed to run a true pro style offense. Accept the recruits we get and play to it. Go with the speed.

I don't think so pal, the spread has won us how many BE Championships? That's what I thought. It is a legitimate question considering this program has done very little in conference. Further, Some of you put the talent level of past teams much higher than it actually is. I would rather have a good system in place based on the talent level we have had on offense and the spread is NOT it.

The spread absolutely IS the right system for the players we've been able to recruit.

WVU and Cincy have both won multiple BE titles running the spread.

Yes. Our strength is speed and skill players (WR's). We just did not have the QB to deliver them the ball. Especially after BJ went down. A pro style offense would be the worst thing right now for out personnel, and would lead to more 3 win seasons until we could get the right personnel in, if ever.

So when we play teams like UCONN, Pitt, etc and see them beating our ass i guess we will think of another excuse. Also our version of the spread has not worked when we visit schools up north during the colder months. Receivers drop the ball, QBs throw interceptions, etc.
