Yea the sarcasm is great BotR. You were talking up Leach earlier. Why would he leave a Pac12 school for USF? Can't give people **** and then make stupid comments.

Mike Leach would leave because what can he do. He scored 40 points a game up there and went 3-9...He would dominate in FLORIDA. He wanted Miami so badly and they were so boring and traditional they turned him down. We shouldnt miss out. He would leave WSU in a second.

He jumped at the opportunity. He turned a ****** offense into what he did at texas tech. He proved again he is a great offensive mind. Now give him the chance here in Florida. He could dominate the teams we play. We can piece together a defense because we dont face offenses like he does in the pac 12 every weekend.

Hope hire comes ASAP to avoid months of this. Leach isn't leaving a "BCS" Wazzu and USF isn't hiring a coach accused of "abusing" a player.

Don't hate the idea, but I can't see him leaving. I want somebody who can recruit well in FL. I'm not talking about the #1 recruiting class, but more like Leavitt's last class. Recruiting is what cost Holtz his job.

I think Petrino is the obvious choice.

1) He made a mistake by fooling around with a girl at work. If this is a disqualifier for coaches at universities, probably half the coaches in the country, fail the test. He tried to do the right thing by falling on his sword. Not a pretty sight, no real good way to handle something like this.

2) has run great offensive football programs at the National level. Tom Coughlin called him the":best offensive play caller" ive ever been around.

3) Was brought to the Falcons to QB coach arguably one of the highest ceiling QB athletes in NFL history. Coached Ryan Mallett to be one of the most impressive college QB's in the country. With High upside AW coming in, who better to take a talent like that to meteoric levels.

4) has the name recognition to bring in a top flight assistant coaching staff.

He is slightly damaged goods as are we. It's a match made in heaven. Hire him tonight.

Problem with your number one reason is that he hired said mistress thus abusing his power. So I think this makes him a big no! As well he would be a one and done. We need a program builder and not a one and done.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
