I don't know. I think it's time USF stops trying to look for a big name to hire and instead tries to create one. By that I mean we should hire a young, unknown coach with a lot of passion.

Taggert is the name I keep seeing. Hope USF looks at him.

He can't win in the Sun Belt. Why would it be different here?

He did bring them to their first bowl game ever and will be taking them to their second one. He also coached under Harbaugh.

I thought the same. It's early, and I don't know a ton about him, but my initial reaction was this same thought when I first heard his name.

I like Taggart as well. If you can recruit players from the state of Florida to play in Bowling Green, Kentucky at a lower tier 1-A school, imagine what he could do at a school in the state of Florida.

James Coley seems like an interesting option.

He is a great recruiting coordinator and a darn good offensive coordinator...from Miami and knows how to recruit the state. If he is ready to man his own ship, I think he would be a leading candidate!
