That is a classic line from years ago at the Bowl game. Never really made sense then and still doesn't today but just one of those things that seemed to stick. Plus you needed to be there at 2 AM with ECU fans on one side of the street yelling at USF fans on the other. One after another an ECU fan would rush the Bulls fans and the cops would grab them and haul them off. It was claasic.

SDSU is marketing themselves to Big 12 also, though I dont see a 4 east, 2 west split for 16. But adding SDSU gets you into Cali in San Diego and Boise St adds a national team so if Fox/ESPN likes thus $$$$$$, it could happen.
