Undefeated Big East team not worthy of NC game discussion

I agree Louisville or no Big East team should be in the discussion for the National Title this year. Louisville schedule wasn't tough enough this year. So I agree we shouldn't be included. I think UL could have had a solid schedule but, Southern Miss who isusally decent has had a bad year. UK is generally bad in football but really,really bad this year. FIU was a bowl team last year but, not good this year. UL had scheduled Georgia but, they backed out last year to play Boise State which, we would have had our return game with them this year. The replaced Georgia with North Carolina which is an okay team but not great. Also with Cincy losing to Toledo and now Rutgers losing to Kent State that hurt them as well. Plus UL is 8-0 but, they haven't been blowing people out. Nothing impressive. I just hope this year they can make a BCS game and build on it for next year. If they start next year ranked high which they would if they won a BCS game and finsihed like 12-1 or something like that. This team is made up of mostly sophomores. I think we have only 4 seniors on the team. So if they came in ranked high next year and were blowing people out then the could get in the discussuion bext year. Definitley not this year though.

this. this is how any Big East will get into the National Championship discussion. It will be a two year process. See Cincy in 2010, WVU this year, and maybe UL this season. We will see how they react next year.

Remember when the big east went 6-0 in bowl games one year and we all talked **** about how good the BE was?

With all the poop teams we have beat maybe we aren't..I'm just glad to have a bowl game to watch over the holidays regardless of where we go to be honest.

That's a fair position. I think most rational people would be hard pressed not to see that there are, in college football, multiple tiers and as such that inequality

is a factor in considering who plays for the NC. Anyway, good luck with the rest of the season and the bowl game. I'll catch it on the Tee Vee!
