Alledged crime! Domestic violence is serious stuff and it is difficult often sorting out what may or may not have occurred. There are always three versions of what happened: his version, her version, and what actually happened.

Why his girlfriend (the victim) waited until 8 days later to report the incident is unknown.

How about she was scared of what he might do to her? Physical abuse victims don't come forward very often. They think the person will change or are afraid the abuse will get worse. Him being at the game makes it a pretty safe time to go to the police.

Or she made it up.... Not saying that she did, but my reason is just as much assumption as yours is DB.

None of us know why or how any of it happened.

My brother and I grew up in a house where the sperm donor pounded on my mom and us. I can tell you from experience that this is a horrible event no matter what and there truly is three sides to the story.

A man must be able to walk away though....

The alleged victim contacted HCSO officers at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, less than an hour before the USF-FSU game started. After completing interviews and taking digital photos for evidence, officers arrested Dunkley when he returned to campus from Raymond James Stadium.

She, and we all know where he was at that time.

Dunkley, 21, was arrested by Hillsborough County Sheriff's officers on campus at 11:23 p.m. Saturday and booked at 1:44 a.m. Sunday; as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday, he remained in jail, held without bond.

Honestly he will probably enjoy himself more at the UF game than he would on the field playing for our sorry coaches, and I don't blame him.
