I guess everyone forgets that Skip went into South Bend and beat a Irish team that was a lot better than the 2009 Nole team.

Someone has to be a voice for why Skip isn't Jon L Smith.

Notre Dame was 8-5 last year with their only good win verse Mich St.. FSU was 7-6 in 2009 with victories over ranked BYU and WVU. Who was better is actually quit debatable, and I hardly would say that last years Notre Dame team was "a lot better".

Yeah and everyone is beating off to a USF team that beat a 7-6 FSU team who was so bad they canned one of greatest coaches to ever step on a football field.

I'm so over the anti Skip ******** on here. Yes he's doing horribly, he sucks, it sucks, but for fucks sake lets not act like we were gee dee world beaters before he came in here.

The previous regime was heading to the same place we are today.

Who exactly is "beating off to a USF team"? Considering its FSU week, I don't think looking back and remembering one of the bigger wins in program history who just happened to be against FSU several years ago is that off base. And if simply making jest about having D-Lineman who were putting pressure on QB's in that game is some big slight to Skip, then me thinks you might just be a little too sensitive on this matter.

Point of Order: Had USF lost to FSU then they would have bee 8-5.

Your anti Leavitt ******** is duly noted, though.

Disagree to a certain extent. I don't think the previous staff would have even seen a 5-7 season overall while in the Big East.

Nice try. Notre Dame's losses last year included BCS teams in Michigan and Stanford. And another 10-2 team in USC (who was not bowl eligible)

2009 FSU needed a late win against Maryland just to get bowl eligible.

I'm not anti Leavitt.

I'm realistic.

Leavitt went 2-5 his last year in the BE. Not sure he would have sunk this far, but the trend was there.

There were HD versions of these highlights from the Miami fan at one point. Can our current team watch these highlights from this game and not get jacked up for Sat. night? Heck, I want to take on the Indian Gaming Noles right now after watching this.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
